The company continued to grow throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In 1898, Reed & Barton launched its “X” pattern?one of the most popular patterns in sterling silver flatware history. The “X” pattern is still produced today.
In 1911, Reed & Barton moved its operations to a new factory in East Taunton, Massachusetts. This factory was designed by noted architect Mott B. Schmidt and remains the company’s headquarters today.
